Welcome to Our Story! Hello, my name is June Craig. My Husband Richard and I live in the Yakima Valley, of Washington State. In the Beautiful Pacific North West USA. Richard has lived and worked here all of his life.

I came out here from Kalamazoo Michigan in 1966. I have four grown children, nine grand-children and twenty great-grand-children. (WOW!!) Most are living in other states. Some we have never seen. Richard has worked as foreman of a fruit ranch since 1967. In December of 2005 the company he worked for all those years said, "we are selling the farm". They said their good-byes. The first part of 2006 they came to him and said, they had decided to lease part of it out and work part of it. Would he came back and work for them by the hour( before he had a salary). He did. He sixty-seven years old. The farm never had a retirement program and with the wages they gave there wasn't much room for saving. With the low pay and my medical expenses going through the roof. We desperately need the extra income.

I have been disabled for many years. I have Asthma, COPD (Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema) Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and Parkinson's Disease. Seems like every time I went to the doctor, they came up with something new. Some days it is impossible to do anything. We have problems, we learn to cope. I think maybe having Polio at age seven, may have started things rolling. Who knows? Without my Belief and Trust in God I really couldn't handle it. The pain, the stress and sometimes the depression. With Polio at age seven. Seven major surgeries along the way. But, you know, You look around and you can always see people a lot worse then you are. It's a wonderful life, live it to the fullest. If you smoke! STOP!! We would like to be able to travel one more time to see the children and grandchildren living in other states. Also the eighteen great-grandchildren {:>) We don't know how much longer I will be able to do much of anything. One bright thing right now is that I have my New Power Wheel Chair . That is be a big help. We can only do the best we can and with God's Help He will see us through this. If you believe in God, We ask for your prayers.

COPD

 COPD is an acronym for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Syndrome?  It is estimated that Around 11.4 million adults suffer from any one of the two forms of COPD in US.  You may be astounded to know that these 11.4 million adults in US, suffering from COPD need to remind themselves every minute to, �Just Breathe�.  Emophysema is one of the two forms of COPD.  24 million adults in US display indication of diminished lung capacity and are either suffering from Emphysema or, are potential Emphysema patients.  Lack of knowledge on the subject makes it extremely scary.  I should know. For I suffer from Emphysema  I decided to document my knowledge and experience during the last 4 years of my suffering from this disease.  �Just Breathe�, �Living with Emphysema� is the title of my e-book.  I hope you gain more knowledge from my experience and pain
